Shares rose $2.29, or nearly 8 percent, to $32 in aftermarket trading on the better-than-expected results.
Net income rose to $9.4 million, or 38 cents per share, from $7.5 million, or 30 cents per share, last year. Analysts expected net income of 33 cents per share, according to FactSet.
Revenue rose 20 percent to $98.3 million from $82.2 million last year. Analysts expected $91.6 million.
The Vernon-based company had strong demand at its retail stores and Web site. Revenue in that segment rose 42 percent to $58.8 million. Revenue in stores open at least one year rose 14.8 percent.
